Athletes take part in the weekly Kralingbergh parkrun
Altogether 27 parkrunners recorded new personal bests and representatives of three different clubs took part.
A total of 91 athletes took part in the 28th weekly parkrun at Kralingbergh Guesthouse on 18 May.
Of these athletes, 11 were first timers.
Altogether 27 parkrunners recorded new personal bests.
The event was made possible by 15 volunteers, Anel Schulze, Gerald Young, Mandri Olivier, Adele Smit, Annise Smit, Cornelius Frederik van der Nest, Nomsa Nzimande, Engela van Zyl, Barry Smit, Lakesh Maharaj, Ansuné Neethling, Magdaleen Neethling, Kobus Neethling, Gideo Cloete and Edna Maharaj.
The male record is still held by Charis Brudyn who recorded a time of 20:25 at the 16th parkrun and the women’s record is held by Andrea Steyn who recorded a time of 21:23 at the 27th event.
