Police Constables climb up the ranks to Sergeants in Ermelo
Col. Sdumo Ngcobo, station commander of Ermelo Police, addressed the officers and said: “Be proud of yourself, we must be proud of the uniform we wear and the service that we offer.
Members from Ermelo Police were promoted from Constables to Sergeants in Ermelo on 24 March.
According to Capt Carla Prinsloo, spokesman of Ermelo Police, a total of 25 constables were promoted and one Sergeant was promoted to the rank of Warrant officer at a ceremony in Ermelo this morning.
Out of the newly promoted members, some were also rewarded with long service medals for serving in the SAPS for 10 years.
