Suspect will appear in Ermelo Magistrate’s Court for domestic worker’s murder

A reaction team from ACSU apprehended a suspect with a black backpack. They handed the suspect over to the local authorities.

Ms Emma Nkosi (54) a domestic worker was killed during a house robbery that went south in Willem Coetzer Street.

Her employer, Mr Hammie van Staden, discovered her lifeless body after he came home early on 14 November.

A reaction team from ACSU apprehended a suspect with a black backpack.

They handed the suspect over to the local authorities.

The suspect was later identified as a worker from a building contractor, who recently worked at the family’s house.

He appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on 15 November.

The case was postponed to 19 November and the suspect remained in custody.
