Carolina Police warns residents against increase of burglary cases

Carolina Police recently warned the community about an alarming increase in cases of house burglaries.

According to Const Thabang Mokwana, spokesman, houses are broken into where electronics such as televisions, laptops and cellphones are stolen.

Const Mokwana said: “Some of the incidents take place over weekends when the owners are not at home, while some take place when owners are at work.”

They encouraged community members to have neighborhood watch activities and street patrol committees in place to assist.

“The police will continue to conduct patrols and police visibility in the community.”
