Carolina Police says women should be vigilant at night after rape in Carolina

Const Mkowana said: “She fell and the suspect undressed and raped her.”

Carolina Police are investigating a case of rape, after a 41-year-old woman was raped on her way home on 4 August.

According to Const Thabang Mokwana, spokesman for Carolina Police, the woman was attacked by an unknown man.

The man followed and attacked her from the back.

Const Mkowana said: “She fell and the suspect undressed and raped her.”

The suspect fled the scene after he was disturbed by two men.

The incident occurred at the Silobela crossroad in Carolina.

“We often receive cases where woman are raped on their way from taverns, we urge all woman not to walk alone at night.”
