Residents of Nhlazatshe claim that a local ward councillor allegedly did not follow the correct procedures when he hired contractors for a RDP refurbishment tender.
According to a resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, the community marched on 28 June.
The march took place because they were uninformed about who the main contractors were and them being hired without a steering committee.
A notice was recently handed out to the community for those who wished to apply as sub-contractors however, they needed to submit their documents at Sikhulu Tuck Shop.
