The body had stab-wounds to the chest and on the hand.
The name of the deceased was being withheld as the next of kin had not yet been informed.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death and have asked any witnesses to come forward.

In a separate incident, the bodies of two unidentified young males were found in Murray Street near a popular night club in Joubert Street. Both bodies had stab wounds to the chest.
