KwaZanele gets new roads

"The municipality has kept its promise to give proper roads and today is the day that we deliver"

Inzuzo Project Engineers officially handed over upgraded roads in Ward 14 at Kwa-Zanele in Breyten last Wednesday.

The four-month project with a budget of R2.5 million gave employment to 30 semi-skilled and unskilled members of the community.

During the ceremony, Ward Cllr S.J. Msibi applauded the contractor for the wonderful work he had done and the professionalism displayed during the project. He also thanked members of the community that were part of the project for their assistance.

“The municipality has kept its promise to give proper roads and today is the day that we deliver,” said Mr Msibi.

Cllr M.P. Nkosi who stood in for the Executive Mayor commended the wonderful job that the contractor had done and pleaded with the community to look after these roads.

Mr Zweli Thanjekwayo and Mr Sipho Masombuka are two of the community members that benefited from the project.

“The project has come and gone, but I’m left with valuable experience and the little I earned made a difference in my life and I’m grateful for that,” said Mr Thanjekwayo.
