Msukaligwa Local Football Association League champions join four other teams in the league.

The Mpumalanga Eagles Football Club will be playing in the SAB Soccer League next season after they had won their final match in the play-offs at the Sasol Kinross Club on Saturday, 23 June.

The team from Camden played three games on their way to SAB League status.

They defeated Wanderers FC from Piet Retief 3-1 and won via penalties against Black Stones, a team from Nhlazatshe.

In the final game, they faced Stucky Stars from Volksrust and won the game on penalties.

The Eagles join four other local teams in the SAB Soccer League after debuting their first ever season in the Msukaligwa Local Football Association League (LFA).

The newly-formed outfit, led by their coach, Mr Magic Manyaka, won the LFA League by winning 26 out of their 30 matches, drawing one and losing three.

The team has had to make do with limited resources and funds, but that has not deterred them from progressing to the big league.
