Breyten Primary School participated in their first ASA Cross Country League that was hosted at the Secunda Athletics Stadium on 21 April.
All competitive schools were present, such as Laerskool Goedehoop (Secunda), Laerskool Marietjie van Niekerk (Bethal), Laerskool Oranjegloed Primary School (Secunda) and Laerskool Standerton.

Breyten Primary School entered 15 athletes who won six gold medals and three bronze medals.
The school also won the trophy for the best school overall and Secunda Sasol Club the trophy for the best club overall.
