Two men appeared in the Ermelo Magistrate’s Court on Monday for the armed robbery that took place on Friday at Tel-A-Car.
Two men entered the dealership and held the staff at gunpoint, taking more than R100 000 from a client.
No injuries were reported and the robbers fled, one in each of two cars, a VW Polo and silver Mercedes, with waiting occupants.
The two suspects, Amos Dube (39) and Walter Ndlovu (32), were apprehended near Standerton.
The rest of the accomplices remain at large.
The case has been postponed and the suspects remain in custody.
Ermelo police spokesman, Capt Carla Prinsloo, urges members of the public to avoid carrying large sums of money on their persons and rather use electronic banking.
