NPSS hosts career day

Pupils received information to assist them in planning their career and academic path

Netherland Park Secondary School (NPSS) recently hosted the Msobo and Ligbron Career Guidance Exhibition aimed at sharing valuable information with the pupils to help guide them in making informed decisions for their careers in the near future.

Various secondary schools from Ermelo and Breyten attended the career day which they found to be very insightful.

Speaking to the pupils, NPSS principal Ms Lucille Geoghegan encouraged the pupils to listen attentively to all the speakers as they bring with them important information to assist them in planning their career and academic path.

Ms Khaba from the Ermelo Police told the learners that SAPS has a vast network of career opportunities. She said if one was successful in attending the police college, the State paid for everything, including monthly stipends. She did, however, add that in order to grow and reach greater heights, one needed to be committed to one’s work.

Some of the stakeholders who gave presentations include GS FET College, Pretoria FET College, Drumbeat Academy and the National Training Authority.
