Camden team does its bit

Mr Spammer said Camden intends to build a relationship with the school going forward and the Mandela Day activities should be seen as a beginning.

Camden Power Station Team invaded New Ermelo Primary School armed with paint brushes, shovels and gifts for the learners for their 67 minutes on Mandela Day last Thursday.

For their 67 minutes Camden Generation, Gx Coal Projects Management, Eskom Rotek Industries, Siemens and Actom led by Power Station Manager, Mr Christo Spammer, painted the school’s kitchen, replaced broken windows in the kitchen and some of the classrooms and also fixed the ceiling boards in the principal’s office.

Some of the team members fixed a leaking tap and rebuilt a veranda.

Camden employees were in high spirits as they went on with the business of the day and the learners were also excited about the goody buckets they received.

The principal thanked Camden Management for their contribution to the school.
