Five Ermelo police officers promoted

Five Ermelo police officers were among the 1 315 members countrywide who were recently promoted.

The promotions include 802 warrant officers to lieutenant and 513 captains to major.

These promotions have been on hold since 1 March 2013 and come after a settlement agreement with Solidarity had been reached.

The Ermelo police members are R. Schilling K9-Unit (Captain to Major),; JP van der Walt – Vispol (Captain to Major); V.P. Mkhonza – Detective Unit (Warrant Officer to Lieutenant); KN Dlamini – Vispol (Warrant Officer to Lieutenant) and S.R. Ngomezulu Stock Theft Unit (Warrant Officer to Lieutenant).
