Lengthy sentences await Msukaligwa cable thieves… if caught

According to the Criminal Matters Amendment Act, the proposed sentences for cable theft under the act is a minimum of three years imprisonment for first time offenders and a maximum term of 30 years in prison for anyone involved in instigating or causing damage to the infrastructure.

Residents are urged to be cautious and report any suspicious activities or people in their area to the Municipal call centre on 080 001 4903.
