Merino Mall launches art competition
Local artists are urged to submit their art concepts for consideration in the conclusion of the art design and application of selected in centre platforms.
Merino Mall launched an art competition for all locals artist to become a part of the fibre of the new Mall.
The entries opened on May 25 and will close on June 20.
Local artists are urged to submit their art concepts for consideration in the conclusion of the art design and application of selected in centre platforms.
Four themes have been identified for the artwork:
- Where the spring begins or Under the rising sun
- Paying homage to the historic Ermelo showgrounds
- The people of Ermelo / Mpumalanga
- Landscapes that ignite a feeling of nostalgia and warmth in Ermelo / Mpumalanga.
The first 100 entries will receive a free Merino Mall art bag.
A total of one to three images/scans, showcasing the entry, may be submitted and artists may enter in more than one category.
