TV weekly must watch

We’ve rounded up three great shows you should keep an eye out for this week.

Kick off with four local amateurs all aiming to whip up a storm in their kitchens to win a cash prize. Then watch the third and final season of a crime drama that follows a new generation of cartel leaders that vie for power. Or follow a series that brings to life the power struggles of Ancient Rome from a different perspective, that of the women.

Local flavour is on the menu with the return of Come Dine With Me South Africa season 7. Watch new episodes of SA’s spiciest cooking show every Wednesday at 8pm on BBC Lifestyle, channel 174.

Narcos: Mexico season 3 will be set in the 1990s when the globalization of the drug business ignites. After Felix’s empire has splintered, the new episodes will focus on the cartels that emerged to take over that power vacuum created in its wake and the new generation of Mexican kingpins that ushered them in. The third and final season of Narcos: Mexico is now showing on Netflix.

Domina follows the story of Livia Drusilla, from her early life as a naive young girl in the wake of Julius Caesar’s assassination, through her rise to become the emperor Augustus’ wife, becoming Rome’s most powerful and influential empress. Watch Domina now on Showmax.
