Manhart’s modified BMW M2 CS now a 447 kW bruiser
This was made possible by installing Manhart's new turbocharger, intercooler and carbon intake system.
It’s no lie that the new BMW M2 CS is one powerful missile with 331 kW of power and 550 Nm churned out by a 3.0-litre turbocharged straight-six engine.
However, the folks at Manhart do not think so as they have fiddled with the M2 CS’ motor to deliver a stunning 447 kW of power and 830 Nm and the BMW MH2 GTR was born.
This was made possible by installing Manhart’s new turbocharger, intercooler and carbon intake system.
The tuning firm also added a completely new stainless steel exhaust system. Manhart fitted the pipes with 300-cell catalytic converters and four carbon-sheathed 100-mm tailpipes.
The seven-speed DCT transmission has been upgraded so it can handle all that extra grunt.
Visually, the MH2 GTR is fitted with a carbon-fibre wing at the back as well as wider carbon-fibre wheel arches.
The suspension has been modified and the M2 CS now rides on in-house produced forged wheel kit finished in matte black with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres in 255/30 on the steering axle and 295/25 tyres at the rear.
