Cambridge FC wins again

The Cambrigde team won their fourth game in a row.

Cambridge FC faced Tembisa Black Pirates at the Jim Fouché Stadium on November 5.

“Our boys started slow. They conceded an early goal, which shocked the home supporters and the team,” ” said Cambridge FC chairperson, Ignatius Maphike.

Cambridge player Minenhle Dineka scored an equaliser soon after.

“When we scored our first goal, the boys managed to up the tempo of the match,” Maphike said.

The Cambridge team in white focuses on their defence.

The Cambridge team scored their second goal of the match when Ntokozo Barker Ntsibande put the ball in the net.

Cambridge managed to score three more goals in the second half courtesy of Minehle ‘Mini’ Cooper and Reaoboka Sello to seal the game 5-1.

Cambridge has enjoyed four consecutive wins.

“We will have to work on the issue of conceding goals. We are building up good momentum, but we should remain level-headed and keep the team in good spirit,” said assistant coach Richard Makhubo.
