Cambridge FC bags another home win

The Cambridge team won their third match in a row.

Cambridge FC faced Els Park United FC on October 29.

The match was held at the Jim Fouché Stadium.

“The boys started the match off on a high,” chairperson Ignatius Maphike said.

“They kept up a good pace and held a good position with the ball.”

The opening goal of the match was scored by Cambridge striker, Oupa Junior Mbokazi, while the second was scored by Minehle ‘Mini’ Cooper.

“The boys showed their quality and class well during the first half,” Maphike said.

“They conceded a penalty late in the first half allowing the opposing team to score.”

The first half of the match ended with a score of 2-1 in favour of the Cambridge team.

During the second half of the match, the Cambridge team managed to score two more goals.

The match ended with a final score of 4-1 for the Cambridge team.

“We are very happy with the win,” said head coach Godfrey Hermanus. “It was our third win in a row.”

“The boys performed well,” Maphike said in conclusion.

“It is still very early in the season, but we have to be consistent and win as many games as possible.”
