The final matches of the league were played at the Mackenzieville Stadium.

CFC Academy won all the trophies in the three age group divisions of the league.

“With 10 teams in each division, CFC Academy came out on top with a neat display of football throughout the season,” said CFC Academy chairperson Ignatius Maphike.

CFC Academy, which entered three different age group divisions in the league, were crowned league champions.

“We saw great commitment from our coaching staff and hard work from our players, which helped them see glory at the end.”

CFC Academy’s U13, U15 and U17 teams all won in their age group divisions.

The community league was started by local coaches and the chairperson, Siswe Masondo.

The CFC Academy U15s showed skill and class during the league.

“We wanted to keep the boys busy and off the streets,” said Masondo. “We hope we will be able to join hands during the next season with the LFA league and the MAFA league.

“Congratulations to the CFC Academy teams who came out on top.”

Maphike applauded the efforts of the local coaches who put in the work to make the league a success.

The CFC Academy U13 team played well during the league.

“I would like to thank our CFC Academy coaches, December Nhlapo and Goodman Xulu for the hard work they put in with the teams and their games,” Maphike said.

“The boys have set a benchmark for their senior team and we hope that we will have an even better season next year.”

CFC Academy also won various other individual awards for best players of the season, the team of the season and coaches of the season.
