Business league bowls you over

LCS Logistics stepped up to the plate.

Heidelberg Bowling Club held its bi-annual business league bowling tournament, with the final held on March 24.

The league was played over the last four Thursdays on a round-robin basis.

The tournament is usually played in March and then again in October.

Lena Brits (89) was the oldest participant.

The participating teams were Bryte Insurance, Property Professionals, PH Energy Systems, MMG Ford, NTT VW, Mahindra, Nissan, Renault, Phoenix Fasteners, Cubic Systems, LCS Management, LCS Admin, LCS Logistics and Auto-Ren.

Organiser George Clarke gave final pointers on the last day of the tournament.

The players’ ages varied from the early 20s to the eldest being 89.

LCS Logistics won the tournament, with LCS Admin placing second and LCS Management coming in third.
Property Professionals were awarded the Team Spirit trophy.

Players enjoyed being out and about during the business league bowling tournament.
