Major wrestling event taking place this weekend

Honour Wrestling Association (HWA) will be pulling out all the stops at Battle of Honour 4 in the East Rand on Saturday, February 1.

Kempton Park resident and former world champion Hector Payne will have his hands full when he takes on Spain wrestler, Cyclone. Payne was initially scheduled to face longtime rival Nightmare, but had to withdraw from the event due to injury.

HWA officials managed to arrange for international wrestler Cyclone from Spain, to be brought in after a long absence from HWA in South Africa. These two will face off in a No Holds Barred Hardcore match.

Battle of Honour 4 will take place at Cresslawn Primary School at 37 Rigger avenue, Cresslawn, Kempton Park.

Gates will open 05:00 and bell time is 18:30. Tickets are on sale and will be R30 per person or R100 family tickets that admits four people. Tickets will also be available at the door at the event.

HWA wrestlers such as The Ripper, Gene “The Clown”, Quinn, Azazel, The Bandit and Blade will be some of the names that will be entertaining the crowd.

Newly crowned undisputed champion Mr Money will also be defending his titles against a yet unnamed opponent and Ultimate Nathan will take on Steve Eden in a Grudge Match
