Heidelberg Public School Grade 7 learner Aiden King has qualified for participation in the Gauteng athletics championships, after the won the boys u/12 shot put event at the D7-meeting on February 20. The Gauteng athletics championships took place in Sasolburg on March 1.
Clive van Staden, Grade 7 learner and head boy of Heidelberg Public School participated in the 2019 Horse of the Year show in Kyalami recently
He rode and handled Arop Arwen Evenstar – a part bred Nooitgedachter mare owned by Firn Hyde, who walked away with the Supreme Champion Part bred mare title along with the Reserve Supreme Champion Working Riding Horse and Champion Working Riding Horse for Children. Clive also won the Children’s Show Riding and Children’s Show Hack.
