FFDS dance students excel at modern dance exams

30 Dance students from Felicia’s Fitness and Dance Studio (FFDS) entered the Association of International Dance Teachers (AIDT) modern dance exams, which took place on May 19.

Stefan Davel and Kiera-Mari Gage both received a 90% mark for their prelim junior exam and both achieved 94% for their medal examination.

Seven students received distinction marks (90-100%), seven received their honours (80-90%), eight were certified highly commended (70-80%) and another eight were certified commended (60-70%).

 

Seen here are Chriselda Viljoen, Mieke Nienaber, Megan Marais, Sané Rheeder, Layla van der Mere, Caitlin Durant, Kiera-Mari Gage, Inge Briel, Jolene Grobler, Natasha Honiball, Felicia Watkins(teacher), Anna Oelofse, Stefan Davel, Omisha Ramsammy and Jacques Pieterse who received distinction marks.

 

Jessica Potgieter received 91% for first grade modern dance and Liezel Rautenbach received 92% for first grade modern dance at the AIDT modern dance exams.
