The course is designed to equip women with practical exercises and solutions to avoid or handle an attack or possible hijacking situation.
Schoeman and Cerva took the women through different scenarios of a potential hijacking situation. By means of a series of manoeuvres, they demonstrated what a female can do in the event of being hijacked and how to get herself and her loved ones out of the vehicle safely and how to disarm an attacker from his knife or firearm.
Physical self defence techniques demonstrated by the duo, included soft approaches on how to get yourself out of an uncomfortable position without using too much aggression, how to use your body and move effectively during an attack and a number of striking techniques. They also demonstrated when and where to strike and how to handle attacks from behind and on the ground.
