Arbor Week is celebrated annually from September 1 to 7.

The Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF) runs this project and encourages people to learn more about the importance of indigenous trees.

Arbor Week also encourages people to plant new trees and emphasises the significance of trees in ensuring life on earth and sustainable living.

Schools or community members celebrate Arbor Week every year by planting trees and raising awareness about the value of trees in the environment.
