Heidelberg Methodist Church commemorates World Environment Day

The Heidelberg Methodist Church men’s ministry planted trees during a recent outreach in Ratanda to commemorate World Environment Day.

The group planted the trees at Gxowa Primary School in Ratanda, Ext 23.

The men’s ministry and the school’s principal, Abraham Maseli planted trees and educated the learners about the trees.

The members that attended the event were Hugo de Koningh, Hannes Louw, Peet Kotze, Emmanual Gwebu and Reverent Khakalethu Mantini.

World Environment Day is celebrated on June 5.
