Red Army rises to the occasion
The runners participated in various events on May 4 and 5.
The Heidelberg Athletics Club had an eventful weekend on May 4 and 5.
In support of the Lesedi Community Centre (LCC) fundraiser, the Western Race 4 Hope, the team had 11 runners participate in the 5km and 15km trail runs.
Phumlisa Papa bagged first place (12km), followed by Vince Buthelezi, who scooped third.
On May 5, the Red Army headed to the Colgate Marathon in Boksburg with a representation of 12 runners in the 5km, 15km and 32km races.
