Children share in association’s celebration

The Alra Park Sports Development Association celebrated its 13th anniversary on March 8.

To commemorate this special occasion, they invited children from the neighbourhood, who were 13 years old, to the event.

The children were entertained and received refreshments during the event.

“We decided to give a meal for the children in the area instead of a sports event this year,” explained German Visser, chairperson of Alra Park Sports Development Association.

“Thirteen years of serving the sports community is really a milestone. We would like to thank our sponsors for making this occasion memorable for our children.”

During the rest of the year, the association will conduct various events that include a concert and sporting events in the community.
