Devon SAPS visited Zikhethele Secondary School, Nomnekane Primary School and Sithembiso Primary School in the Devon area on January 17.
Officers from Devon SAPS visited these schools with Warrant Officer Sibongile Ndlela, acting station commander Warrant Officer Mbongiseni Zwane, GBV Brigades, Thoko Malinga, Lindiwe Skosana and Modiehi Mosia, Usizolwethu Clinic health promoter Mduduzi Nyembe, Agape Lerato NGO auxiliary Ms Thabiso and victim supporter, Nasthole Maseko.
The visits aimed to engage with the learners in a back-to-school campaign. They welcomed all the learners and motivated them to do their best this year.
They also urged the learners to focus more on their studies.
The group applauded the teachers of the various schools for their efforts in producing great results throughout the year.
Devon SAPS will, throughout the year, be visiting various schools in various campaigns to educate and sensitise the learners on various subjects.
