Heidelberg Bowls Club’s Business League Spring Edition started on October 5.
The bowling tournament is played by 14 teams from different businesses in the area.
Preliminary results after the first three rounds are as follows: RenCor is first with Cubic Systems in second place and third is newcomers DJ Motors/ Engen Balfour.
The placings are separated due to shot differences as the deciding factor.
Apart from the teams vying to become champions and getting bragging rights, the teams are also in competition for the spirit cup. That is given to the team with the best spirit support and teamwork during the tournament.
The current holder for the last two editions of the league for the spirit cup is Property Professionals.
The tournament is being played every Thursday evening in October at Heidelberg Bowls Club, with the final on October 26.
