Du Randt takes it all

Stefan Pretorius had to submit in a tight contest and ultimately lost his match.

Stefan Pretorius had to submit after a tight contest during the Winner Takes All Tournament (WTA7) held on September 1 in Linbro Park.

This was part of Submission Kings and Queens tour.

The eight best fighters in SA’s light heavyweight division were ready to show their mettle. They fought to see who would walk away victorious and win the Submission Kings belt.

The fighters who participated were Kyle Lunde, Brandon Naudé, Michael Blok, Wade Henderson, Jason du Randt, Warren Allison, Cameron Pritchard and Pretorius.

Stefan Pretorius (Ability Academy) competed in the Winner Takes All Tournament.

Heidelberg’s Pretorius fought Blok. The two fighters went toe to toe and did not give an inch. With one minute and 37 seconds left in their contest, Blok got Pretorius to submit and taste defeat.

In the other fights, Naudé beat Lunde, Du Randt was victorious against Henderson, and Pritchard won against Allison.

In the second round, Naudé was in a tight contest against Blok but won, and Du Randt got the better of Pritchard.
In the final fight, Du Randt came out on top against Naudé. He plans to go to Poland for the next part of his journey.
