Karatekas compete in Sasolburg champs

The Tenshinkan karate students competed in Sasolburg after achieving their East Gauteng colours in April.

Various karate students from the Tenshinkan Karate Club recently competed at the SARMAF All Styles South African Championships in Sasolburg.

The championships, held on June 16 and 17, saw the club’s students from Nigel, Balfour, Mackenzieville and Heidelberg compete.

The Mackenzieville dojo’s karate students who competed were Muaaz Abdul Rahaman, Mohammed Fayzaan Khalid Mottiar, Ishaan Prajapati, Mohammed Pochee and Tyrese Pillay with sensei Leon Gagiano (back).
The Balfour dojo’s karate students who competed were Kytlin and Eltione Meintjes and Diandri Pretorius. Wth them is sensei Leon Gagiano (back).
