Rand Water will do planned maintenance from May 26 to 29.
The maintenance will tie the new M9 pipeline to the existing pipeline.
Work will start at 05:00 on May 26 and should be complete by May 29.
During the maintenance, there will still be pumping to the Brakpan Reservoir.
However, the reservoir that supplies Heidelberg will have no water supply.
All residents are urged to store water for use during this time.
Residents are advised that it will take a while to fill up the Selcourt Reservoir again once the repairs are complete. The high-lying areas will take longer.
