The Bowls Autumn Business League was concluded on April 13 at the Heidelberg Bowls Club.
With the final round that was played on the day, there were still several teams in the running to be crowned champions.
The tournament was a huge success. Every evening of the competition, there was a good turnout. All the teams had supporters around the greens.
Last year’s runners-up made a step up and were crowned champions.
The winner of the Autumn Bowls Business League was Cubic Systems. Second place went to PH Energy Systems and third place was LCS Group.
The Spirit Trophy went to Property Professionals and the player with the most touchers was Olaf Pietersen.
Heidelberg Bowls secretary and Business League Tournament spokesperson Herman van der Merwe said: “This tournament is going from strength to strength.
We are looking forward to the next one in October. We aim to make it bigger and better. We want to invite more businesses to participate and enjoy time away from work.
“We thank everyone and the sponsors who made this tournament a success and look forward to hosting you all again soon.”
