Sinivasen Pentia remembered

The memorial service will be hosted by Sinivasen's family.

Sinivasen Pentai (56) who died on April 11, 2022 will be remembered at a memorial service on March 25.

“Vasen was a man who always showered everyone in an abundance of love and care,” said Nasen Pentia, Sinivasen’s brother.

“He was an educator and we will always remember his commitment to his career.”

According to the family’s culture, it is custom to have a memorial service in the deceased’s honour a year after his passing.

Sinivasen grew up in Heidelberg and attended Shalimar Ridge Primary School in Heidelberg, and the William Hills Secondary School in Actonville in Benoni.

He received his tertiary education at the Teachers Training College in Laudium in Pretoria, and received various awards during this time.

Sinivasen moved back to Heidelberg shortly before his death.

He also received a certificate of gratitude and appreciation from the Gauteng Department of Education (Sedibeng East) in February of last year.

Sinivasen died of natural causes after a routine operation.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and a granddaughter. His memorial service will be hosted by his family.
