Nigel Dikoena Stars FC played against Nigel Shamrocks FC on January 15.
The game was part of the Mackenzieville Alrapark Football Association (MAFA) league. The league will officially start on January 21.
During the match, Dikoena Stars FC scored the first goal when Heskie Nkorion netted the ball.
Nkorion also scored the second goal of the match, which secured him the man of the match title.
By halftime, the scoreboard stood at 2-1 in favour of Dikoena Stars FC.
Ten minutes into the second half the Dikoena Stars scored another goal.
After the third goal, the team quickly managed to score four more, ending the match with a final score of 7-4.
“We are happy with the results of the match,” said team manager Seja Evans Mahladisa. “We are ready for the league to start.”
