Service delivery protest memorandum handed over to LLM officials.

Jameson Park residents marched to the Heidelberg municipal offices on November 29 to protest against poor to non-existent service delivery.

The march started in Jameson Park where community members marched along the R23 to the municipal buildings.

The march was peaceful, with no incidents.

The executive mayor Mluleki Nkosi is addressing the gathering.

“There are a lot of concerns that need attention,” said community member Priscilla Raeto.

Raeto read out the concerns and addressed the executive mayor of Lesedi Local Municipality, Mluleki Nkosi.

develop sporting facilities, electrical issues, electrical breakdowns that take days to be rectified, escalated rates, taxes and water accounts.

Jameson Park residents raised the same concerns to LLM in 2017.

Raeto said, “Mr Mayor you and other officials have visited us in the past few months and heard our grievances, but no feedback has come from your office.
