Ratanda SAPS investigate murder after man is fatally shot
More than one cartridge was found on the scene.
Ratanda SAPS are investigating a case of murder after a man was shot in Ratanda on July 14.
According to Sergeant Moss Maluleke, corporate communications officer, police arrived on the scene at Blesbok and Sigaza streets after 19:00, where they found a man lying on the sidewalk wrapped in a blanket. There was blood on the scene.
According to the information, the victim and a second person went into a local tuck shop to buy cigarettes.
When they came out, the second person shot the victim and ran away.
The police found more than one cartridge on the scene.
The Ratanda SAPS requests anyone with information about the shooting to contact their nearest police station.
