Double shooting sees cases opened

The suspects fled the scene in a white Toyota Corolla.

A case of business robbery and attempted murder was opened after a local tuck shop was targeted on December 1.

According to the Duduza SAPS, two Ethiopian tuck shop owners were operating their tuck shop in the John Dube Village at about 13:00 when two men entered the shop.

The unknown men ordered the tuck shop owners to lie on the ground.

The victims attempted to flee their shop. One suspect, who had a firearm, shot one of the victims in the left ankle and the other in the left thigh and right arm as they fled.

The suspects fled the scene in a white Toyota Corolla (PFT 197 GP).

The two victims were taken to the Pholosong Hospital for medical attention.

Presently, it is unclear what the suspects stole from the business.
