Ratanda SAPS members received a report of a body next to a sewage pipeline in Ratanda on August 28.
“Upon investigation, the SAPS members found a deceased male at the site,” said Sergeant Moss Maluleke from Ratanda SAPS Communications.
“He had visible injuries to his head. It does not appear that any property was taken or if it was a mugging.”
The victim has been identified.
The Ratanda SAPS opened a murder case.
