Everest Base Camp, Nepal

Everest Base Camp is one of the most famous treks in the world. Hiking through Everest Base Camp takes hikers through the Himalayas, Sherpa villages, and ancient Tibetan monasteries. Hikers also see majestic glaciers and crystalline lakes, in addition to some of the highest peaks in the world, like Ama Dablam and Nuptse.

Inca Trail, Peru

The Tour du Mont Blanc, Europe

The Tour du Mont Blanc travels through three countries: France, Italy, and Switzerland, with perpetual views of the 15,771-foot Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps. The 103-mile trail has 32,000 feet of cumulative elevation gain and is decent. It includes high-altitude huts or mountain refuges, where hikers can book a room or enjoy a break with gourmet food and drink.

Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Mount Kilimanjaro includes Africa’s tallest peak Uhuru Peak. Kilimanjaro is accessible from Kenya and Tanzania. The trails treat hikers to the beautiful Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, full of wildlife and gorgeous terrain.

Drakensberg Amphitheater, South Africa

Drakensberg Amphitheater is the most famous landmark in the Drakensberg mountain range. It is a massive, naturally carved spectacle showcasing panoramic vistas and cascading waterfalls. Hikers see Tugela Falls and ancient San rock art as they hike through the area. The width of the Amphitheater is 5km (3.1 miles), spanning from the Sentinel in the East to the Eastern Buttress.

Rwenzori Mountains, Uganda
