Nigel water affected by repairs

Various areas in Duduza and Nigel are affected by an emergency water supply interruption.

This comes after vandalism to Rand Water valves caused a massive leak on a pipeline that supplies the Springs Selcourt reservoir, yesterday (August 1).

According to information supplied by Clr Wollaston Labuschagne, Rand Water is currently draining water pipes to commence repairs.

The areas affected by the interruption are Duduza, Masechaba View, Bluegum View, John Dube, Coolbreeze, Tsakane Ext 19/20/21, Langaville Ext 10, Nigel, Vorsterskroon, Pretoriusstad, Ferryvale, Visagie Park, Alra Park and Mackenzieville.

Residents are urged to use water sparingly.
