Community take to the streets to voice their frustration
Residents will march to the Lesedi Local Municipality on January 30.
Angry community members are protesting on the R23 and Vaal Dam Roads and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
On January 28, at about 21:00 the community in the area of the R23 and Vaal DamRoad started burning tyres and rubble in protest relating to power issues.
On January 29, the protest was expanded to the R23, from Shalimar Ridge towards the Vaal Dam Road.
According to information the residents will march to the Lesedi Local Municipality on January 30.
Members of SAPS are on the scene.
