Nigel CPF cleans up police station

Members of the Nigel CPF supported the Nigel SAPS by tidying up the station grounds.

Members of the Nigel CPF cleaned the Nigel SAPS station on January 8.

The clean-up included cutting the grass and tidying up around the station.

“The aim was to clean the station and make it neat,” said Rudi Rudolph of the CPF.

“We work hand in hand with the police and for us, the main thing was about the pride of our frontline workers.”
Rudolph explained that the police officers work to protect the residents of the town and that the clean-up was a way to show appreciation and thanks.

He further challenged all community members and small businesses to support frontline workers through giving back.

“We appreciate the Nigel CPF for helping to clean our station grounds and would like to thank those who assisted on the day,” said station commander Lieutenant Colonel Senzangakhona Mohale.

“The owners of the Nigel SAPS are the community and these owners should be proud of the police station.”
Anyone who would like to show their support to the Nigel SAPS or help make the station more user-friendly can visit the station for more information.
