CFC Academy beat Dream Team 2-1

Dream Team FC faced their first defeat at the hands of CFC Academy.

CFC Academy FC faced the top team, Dream Team FC on June 19, at the Mackenzieville Stadium.

The team had a lot of support from the community, who came out to watch the game.

“The team showed good quality football,” said chairperson Ignatius Maphike.

“The young players showed a lot of confidence by keeping the ball and passing it neatly.”

The team scored their first goal of the match only five minutes into the game.

Justin Smit passed the ball to striker Oupa Mbokazi, who headed the ball in.

They continued to keep control of the ball for the rest of the half.

During the second half, the CFC Academy team managed their second goal of the match through Nhlanhla Nhlapo.

The opposing team only managed to score one goal, and the game ended in favour of CFC Academy 2-1.
