Medals galore brought home after SARMAF

The selected SA champions will receive the opportunity to represent the country next year.

Students of the Tenshinkan Karate Club recently participated in the SARMAF All Styles Nationals competition in Sasolburg.

“Our students did us extremely proud,” said Tanya Gagiano of the club. “We brought home a whopping 123 medals in total.”

Students from the club’s Nigel, Balfour and Mackenzieville branches all took part in this competition.

“They did us as a local community proud as well,” Gagiano continued.

The selected SA champions will be selected later in the year to represent South Africa overseas in 2023.
