Peace Brothers keep top spot

The team has only a few more games to play before they reach the finals.

Peace Brothers FC played against Sun United FC on May 22 at Reigerpark in Boksburg.

With the team currently occupying the top spot on the league log, coach Beipa Sebeko encouraged the players to work harder to maintain their standing.

Twenty minutes into the match, Peace Brothers striker Bisa Mkwanazi scored the first goal of the match, putting his team 1-0 in the lead.

The opposing team received a penalty kick just before half time and the scores evened out 1-1.

During the second half, a young striker for Peace Brothers, Lelo Wandile Twala, scored another goal for his team, putting them back in the lead.

The team from Nigel won the match 2-1.

Team manager Seja Mahladisa encouraged the boys to train harder in order to win the league.
