Rensburg left in darkness
Most residents in Rensburg are still without power.
Residents in Rensburg have been without power for at least a day due to multiple cable faults, according to the Lesedi Local Municipality (LLM).
The LLM urged residents to treat the electricity network as live at all times, as their technicians are working on the problem.
The following streets are without power as confirmed by the LLM: Roets Street, Coen Labuschagne Street, DF Malan Street, Vos Street, Frede Street, Verdoorn Street, Hertsog Street, Romyn Street, Vlok Street and JG Strydom Street.
Alleged cable theft has also affected parts of Heidelberg Central.
No restoration time can be confirmed by the LLM at this stage.
